It's like a jukebox. Songs are Youtube URLs, printed on paper as QR codes.
In order to play a song, scan the QR code in front the camera.
Why?
For fun :)
Your favorite songs are back on physical objects! Print your own cards, collect them, trade them :)
Kids can use it! So do your party friends at 3AM!
It does not work!
Check out the browser console, or try again with a modern browser!
Also, some Youtube videos are restricted and cannot be played from external websites like this one.
Print sheet does not fit
The print feature seems to work better with Firefox, please help me fix this with Chrome :)
About
Besides the video stream, everything happens locally in the browser, in JavaScript.
This wouldn't have be feasible without the awesome Instascan library.
This is heavily inspired by Remy's MusicBox Project, which uses NFC chips.
